About Us
Welcome to the Association of Counsellors in Catholic School (ACCS), South Australia’s support body for wellbeing professionals in Catholic Schools.
The ACCS works to ensure that wellbeing professionals at catholic schools across South Australia are supported from both wellbeing and practice perspective so they can offer a high quality and modern service to students, families, and schools.
The ACCS is also involved in policy development and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure the continual improvement of wellbeing services in schools.
The ACCS Aims to:
- Enhance the professional practice of Wellbeing professionals in Catholic Schools
- Promotes and support up to date, evidence-based practice around challenges that are facing our students, families and schools
- Support wellbeing professionals at catholic schools as they develop both a catholic and professional identity through their work.
- Connect with services and organizations that can support wellbeing professionals, students, families and schools.
- Provide Members with opportunities to connect, network and seek professional development around topics that are relevant to their work.
